Shipping & Returns

1. Shipping

  • Orders are usually processed within 15 business days (depending on stock).
  • We ship within the Netherlands and the EU.
  • Shipping costs, shipping time and available carriers are shown during the ordering process.
  • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation.
  • The risk of damage or loss of the package lies with EcoLines Covers until the package has been delivered to you or handed over to a previously designated representative.

2. Right of withdrawal (only for consumers)

If you are acting as a consumer (not as a business), you have a legal right to cancel the purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.

  • The cooling-off period starts on the day after you receive the product (or if you receive multiple items: the day after you receive the last item).
  • You must notify us of the cancellation period (e.g. via email or contact form).
  • After notification of cancellation, you have a maximum of 14 days to actually return the product.
  • You do not have to give a reason for the cancellation, but we may ask why you want to return the item.
  • We will refund the total amount paid (including the standard shipping costs we charged) within 14 days of your cancellation. We may wait until we have actually received the product or proof that you have returned it.
  • We will use the same means of payment you used for the refund, unless you agree otherwise.
  • If you have chosen a more expensive delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery, we do not have to refund the additional costs of that more expensive method.

Please note use & depreciation:
You may only unpack and use the product to the extent necessary to
assess whether you want to keep it (like in a store). Do you go further than that?
(e.g. intensive use), then we may charge a depreciation
to take.

3. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

In the following cases
no right of withdrawal applies (for consumers):

  • Products custom made to your specifications
  • Sealed audio, video or software products where the seal has been broken after delivery
  • Products that are not suitable for return for hygienic reasons once the seal has been broken
  • Products with a limited shelf life or rapidly perishable goods

If we sell a product that falls under an exception, we will clearly state this before completing the order.

4. Return procedure

  • Please contact us first at info@ecolinescovers.com (or our return form) to register the return.
  • Pack the product carefully, preferably in the original packaging together with all accessories.
  • Please include your proof of purchase/invoice or state your order number.
  • The product must be in the condition in which you received it, without unnecessary damage or signs of use.
  • You will bear the costs of return shipping yourself, unless otherwise agreed or stated.
  • Once we have received the return and the condition has been checked, we will refund the amount owed.

5. Business customers / B2B

Business customers generally do not have a right of withdrawal unless expressly agreed upon in writing. Returns are only possible based on prior arrangements.

6. Refund

  • We will refund the amount owed within 14 days of notification of cancellation.
  • We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the product back or you have supplied evidence of having sent it back.
  • The refund is free of charge for the consumer.
  • We will use the same payment method you used, unless you agree otherwise.

7. Depreciation

If the product is in a worse condition due to use than when you received it, we may deduct a fee from the refund.

This only applies if the reduction arose because you used the product further than necessary to assess it.

8. Loss or damage during return shipment

The risk of loss or damage during return shipping is your responsibility. Therefore, please ensure you return the product with sufficient insurance or by registered mail.
